Lumber Trader – Idaho Timber: The Village at Meridian, Idaho
Idaho Timber, a leader in the forest products industry, is seeking a high-energy Lumber Trader to join our team at our corporate office in The Village at Meridian. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of retail and industrial accounts across the United States, driving volume for our high-capacity production facilities in Weiser ID and Troy ID. Our Weiser facility manufactures pine boards in appearance and industrial grades as well as cedar pickets. Our Troy Idaho mill “Idaho Cedar Sales” manufactures western red cedar split rail. The sales trader will work in tandem with the sales manager selling for both divisions.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We are looking for a closer with at least 2 years of proven sales experience. You must be highly organized, punctual, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams are required for daily operations and collaboration.
- Customer Relationships: You will take ownership of your accounts, proactively nurturing long-term customer relationships to ensure consistent sales growth and market penetration.
- Communication Excellence: You will manage high-volume daily outreach and correspondence, effectively engaging with customers via phone and email to build rapport, present solutions, and maintain relationships.
- The Mindset: A sharp, analytical, and quick-thinking approach to fast-moving markets. You are self-motivated, thrive on autonomy, and have a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
