Salary: Title:Marketing and Communications Manager Classification: ExemptReports to:Director of Sales & MarketingDepartment:Sales and MarketingPosition Summary:The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop, plan, and carry out activities in the field of Marketing and Communications. They will provide creative input and work to provide consistency in marketing documents and practices. They are team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to get along with others. Strong work ethics, integrity, and a willingness to learn and grow are important aspects of employment with Idaho Steel Products.Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelors degree in business marketing or equivalent experience-based proficiency.Working knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Google Analytics, and AdWords.Ability to organize and maintain website and social media accounts and content.Ability to multitask between several projects concurrently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Willingness to travel when needed.Ability to listen and take direction.Initiative, insight, and great organizational skills.Ability to work independently, given the deadlines and results to be achieved.Represent Idaho Steel Products professionally in various situations.Coordinate and gather information from the market.Manage media planning.Proactive thinking about new marketing goals.Contribute to fairs and events.Provide creative input for projects in the Sales and Human Resources departments.Coordinating and editing commercial and technical texts and content for various communication media such as newsletters, press releases, editorials, websites, brochures, etc.Editing trailers and movies of processes and process lines for different purposes.Manage and monitor corporate identity.Design of internal and external communications such as advertisements, press releases, newsletters, invitations, logos, etc.Work with and have frequent contact with colleagues, including sales and project management departments for external content and human resources for internal content/communications with employees.Understand and follow all the safety policies of the shop.Maintain healthy relationships with the community, customers, vendors, competitors, and co-workers.Physical Demands:Climbing stairs and laddersRepetitive motion (to include but not limited to): sitting for long periods, working at a computer, and typing for long periods.Wearing required personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, gloves, etc.).
