We need a handson and customerfocused IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, youll provide essential first-line technical support, maintain company hardware and assets, and assist with IT projects that support both our local facility and our global Digital & IT team. • Is willing to provide occasional remote support to other company locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for end users, including troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and software applications.
• Deliver endpoint support, including setup, configuration, updates, and maintenance.
• Register new assets and maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment.
• Manage hardware lifecycle processes: deployment, replacement, and decommissioning.
• Perform onsite troubleshooting and technical support at the Idaho Falls location.
• Assist with local IT projects such as workstation upgrades, hardware rollouts, and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with the global Digital & IT team and with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) on escalated issues and strategic initiatives.
• Provide remote technical support for the Caldwell/WA group as needed.
• Document support activities, solutions, procedures, and asset changes in the ticketing system.
• Maintain a courteous, customerfocused mindset when supporting employees.
• Follow all shop safety practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.

Desired Education and Experience

• Completed education in Information Technology or a related technical field;
  associate degree in IT preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A .
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, endpoint support, and standard IT service management practices.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting technical issues and resolutions.
• Prior experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations.
