Job Description
To analyze, research, forecast, and reconcile complex financial documents; ensure compliance with laws, rules, and policies; perform related work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for financial duties within the Emergency Services Department (ESD). In addition to the duties of a Financial Technician outlined below, this position will provide key customer service for the ESD based programs on the Pocatello campus. The position is expected to work closely with staff and faculty on the Meridian campus as well.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with other departments in the College of Pharmacy and Health Professions with the financial aspects of grant management.
The successful candidate may act as a liaison between the Emergency Services Department and external customers. This may include occasional on-campus meetings or recruitment events.
The successful candidate will support and perform general office duties using established guidelines under direct supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- Researching and compiling financial information and preparing summaries and reports.
- Using personal computers to enter, retrieve, and edit financial data.
Specialty Requirement
These positions at ISU require experience using MS Excel.
Additional Information
ISU minimum for this classification is $17.25/hour, commensurate with education and experience. To be considered for this opportunity, apply on or before August 5, 2026.
