What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Strategic Advocacy position at Idaho School Boards Association?
SALARY: The salary range is $100,000 -$115,00 per year, depending upon experience and education.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
You will lead the Association’s government affairs strategy, external advocacy efforts, and stakeholder engagement working towards member-driven policy priorities. This is a full-time, exempt, at-will position.
ABOUT US: The Idaho School Boards Association (ISBA) is a non-profit service organization providing policy services, legislative advocacy, leadership support and quality, cost-efficient board development to association members. Founded in 1942 and representing more than 800 locally elected school board members throughout Idaho, ISBA strives to improve public education for all Idahoans through the continued development of community leaders.
POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL MANAGEMENT DUTIES:
For a qualified candidate, these duties could be offered with additional compensation:
Work with Executive Director to administer office functions and manage staff on a day-to-day basis. Serve in the absence of the Executive Director as the administrative officer of the Association.
