Duties
- Lead and supervise window installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and install windows, frames, trim, and fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for window and glass installation on various construction sites
- Apply caulking, painting, and finishing techniques to ensure a polished appearance and weather-tight seal
- Troubleshoot issues related to metal stud framing, drywall, or structural components impacting window installation
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety compliance logs, and project reports
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, fixture installation, cabinet hanging, trim carpentry, and construction painting
- Strong knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for accurate execution of projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse construction environments
- Hands-on experience with caulking techniques and door hanging procedures
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting structural or framing issues during installation
- Demonstrated handyman skills across various remodeling tasks including fixture setup and metal framing
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and project stakeholders
- Valid experience in construction site management with a focus on safety compliance
- Has to have a Vehicle as we travel out of town at some point/ once hired on as lead installer work truck might be provided.
