We are a growing concrete contractor specializing in residential and commercial flatwork. With a team of 50 and a strong reputation for quality and reliability, we are looking for an experienced leader to help take operations to the next level.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on General Manager who can lead field operations, manage crews, and drive the day-to-day performance of the business. This is a senior leadership role for someone who knows concrete, knows how to lead people, and wants ownership over outcomes.
What You'll Own
- Day-to-day field operations across residential and commercial flatwork and foundations projects
- Crew scheduling, deployment, and performance management
- Quality control from pre-pour through finish
- Subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Job costing, production targets, and operational efficiency
- Coordination with estimating, project management, and accounting
- Hiring, onboarding, and developing field personnel
- Safety compliance and jobsite standards
- Customer Relationships
What We're Looking For
- 7 years in concrete construction with at least 3 in a leadership role
- Deep knowledge of flatwork — residential slabs, driveways, flatwork, commercial pads and floors
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Strong communicator who can work across the field and the office
- Someone who leads by example and earns respect from the crew
- Estimating or job costing experience a plus
- Valid driver's license required
