**Overview of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Role**
Idaho Forest Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Journeyman Millwright) to install, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
The successful candidate will comprehend and perform duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and JSAs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment
- Predictive, preventative, corrective maintenance procedures
- Assembly, installation, and repair of equipment following blueprints and schematics
- Pre-fabrication, cutting, and welding
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics, crane and rigging, wire and stick required. They must also be proficient in power drive systems, welding, bearings, and lubrication.
A valid Driver's License is highly preferred, and the ability to work at varying heights is essential.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Moving safely, quickly, and performing duties with repetitious movement
- Sitting and/or standing for shift duration
- Reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
- Maintaining balance, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distances, and climbing stairs
This role requires the ability to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles (sawdust).
