What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant position at Idaho Eye and Laser Center?
Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant needed for an Ophthalmology Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position includes pre-op and post-op patient education, medication and allergy assessment, verifying correct surgical eye, carrying out physician orders using up-to-date forms, patient transferring, ensuring surgical chart documentation is complete, and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
a) Previous experience as an nursing assistant, ophthalmic assistant, ophthalmic technician, or experience in another allied healthcare specialty.
b) Committed to ongoing learning.
c) BLS certified or willing to become certified.
d) Detail oriented
Position is full time Monday - Friday. No nights, no weekends. Occasional travel to our other locations is required (Idaho Falls, Rexburg or Twin Falls).
Salary is dependent on experience.
