The Idaho State Police and State Brand Board are seeking to fill a full-time Technical Records Specialist 2 position as the State Brand Recorder in our Meridian office.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
- Answering phones and responding to customer requests.
- Processing new livestock brand applications, transfers and renewals.
- Maintaining the Livestock Brand Book throughout the year and publishing annually.
- Livestock brand data entry, record retention and filing.
- Processing Livestock Dealer License applications and renewals.
- Completing relative financial transactions and deposits for Livestock Brand recordings and Dealer Licensing.
- Occasional travel as needed.
- Other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors;
- Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs;
- Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues;
- Dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations;
- Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system;
- Composing and proofreading business correspondence.
