Responsibilities:
As a Correctional Officer, you will:
- Supervise and manage incarcerated individuals to ensure safety and order
- Monitor assigned areas for security risks, contraband, or unsafe activity
- Interact with diverse groups, including inmates, families, volunteers, and visitors
- Respond to and de-escalate incidents to maintain safety for staff and incarcerated individuals
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents
- Conduct inspections of cells, corridors, and facility areas to identify hazards
- Communicate with supervisors and follow established action plans
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional boundaries
- Experience in criminal justice or corrections is preferred but not required — full training is provided

- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Salary: $51,168 annually
