Medical Assistant — Part-Time / Mobile Concierge Care

Idaho Concierge Medicine is looking for a professional, confident, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our small, personalized concierge medical practice.

We are looking for someone with recent, hands-on phlebotomy experience who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing exceptional one-on-one care, and working in a setting where clinical skill and the patient experience matter equally. The right candidate does not need years of experience—we are more interested in strong clinical fundamentals, confidence with blood draws, a willingness to learn, and the right personality for our practice.

Our care is highly personalized and often takes place in patients’ homes, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, adaptable to different environments, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people.

About the Role

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity for increased or full-time hours from December through March to provide coverage for a maternity leave.

Most hours will be scheduled during the afternoon, with occasional evening and weekend availability needed based on patient schedules.

Because we are a concierge practice, flexibility is important. Patient needs and schedules can vary, and we are looking for someone who is willing to help when needed and can adapt comfortably to a changing schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws with confidence and professionalism
• Perform IV therapy and other clinical services (will train the right candidate)
• Provide patient care in both the clinic and patients’ private homes
• Prepare patients for visits, labs and treatments
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation
• Support patient intake, follow-up, and care coordination
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols
• Prepare and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
• Help ensure a seamless, elevated experience for every patient
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and the ICM team
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Assist with general clinic operations as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Recent, hands-on phlebotomy experience — this is a must
• Demonstrated confidence performing blood draws independently
• Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
• Professional, polished communication skills
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to patient appointments
• Flexibility to work primarily afternoons, with occasional evenings and weekends
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred

• Current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience
• IV experience is a bonus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong clinical fundamentals, excellent phlebotomy skills, and the right attitude.
• Experience in a concierge, private practice, wellness, or other high-touch healthcare environment
