Perform all work of a trade or craft nature for which an employee is
properly trained, to complete Fabricator assignments in a safe manner.
Assist Other Employees Assigned To Fabrication Activities. Other Skills
and duties as required by management.
**Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):**
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be recognized as a journeyman
craftsman or trades person or have a minimum of four years of relevant
commercial or industrial or combination work and trade school
experience. Must have experience in welding, quality assurance and
computer skills. Need to have the ability to work in a team environment
and have strong written and verbal skills. Must be able to read and
understand drawings, layout, prints and weld symbols, have the ability
to work with tight tolerances. Ability to calculate measurement
tolerances (in decimal and fractions). Ability to perform layout for
coping of structural parts, piping and fabricated components. Experience
working at a Nuclear or Fabrication Facility where work control and
utilization of NQA-1 Quality Standards is preferred. Four years of
proven welding experience in ASME/AWS Welding Procedures and processes
performing GMAW/SMAW/GTAW/FCAW welding on different alloys. Four years
of journeyman level experience in operating shop equipment such as Metal
Shears, Press Breaks, Metal Rolls, Drill Presses, Horizontal Band Saws,
Pipe Threading Machines, Hydraulic Pipe Bending Machines. Experience
with the operation of Overhead Cranes and Hyster\'s, knowledge of safe
Lifting and Rigging Practices. Experience and knowledge in the operation
of hand tools such as Grinders, Sanders, Drill Motors, Nibblers,
Beveling Machines and Dye Grinders. Experience operating Hand-Held
Plasma Cutters and Oxy-Acetylene Torches
