We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead branch in customer relations, operations, manage staff performance, and oversee all credit-related activities. This role requires strong leadership, extensive credit experience, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage daily branch operations while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations and credit staff to achieve Association business plan objectives while ensuring compliance with Farm Credit regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assign and prioritize staff duties based on skills and workload to maximize efficiency, ensure timely service, and support employee development.
- Review, approve, and recommend agricultural loan requests; evaluate credit analysis, loan structure, collateral, and conditions; and provide coaching to credit staff.
- Oversee loan portfolios, including monitoring delinquent and problem loans, developing resolution strategies, and coordinating with senior management on collections and foreclosures.
- Guide and participate in agricultural lending and marketing efforts; support staff in identifying opportunities and structuring sound new business.
- Supervise loan documentation, disbursements, repayments, and ongoing servicing to ensure accuracy, risk management, and borrower satisfaction.
- Establish performance expectations, train and mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support succession planning and staff development.
- Collaborate with senior management on hiring, training, performance reviews, and staffing needs.
- Communicate and reinforce Association policies and procedures; provide ongoing training and promote process improvements.
- Monitor branch operational needs, including staffing, facilities, technology, and equipment, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term branch plans aligned with the Association’s strategic goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with emphasis on agriculture, business administration, accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum three years leadership and management with extensive credit analysis experience.
- Knowledge of dairy, livestock, and field crops preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit administration, financial analysis, accrual accounting, credit risk assessment, budgeting, and managing staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and other business tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Pay is based on experience.
