Bartender at Ida Lewis Yacht Club

Ida Lewis Yacht Club is looking for a bartender to join our team for the Summer 2026 Season (May-mid-October). We are located on 170 Wellington Ave.

Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and member-focused Bartender to join our team for the upcoming season. This role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering an exceptional experience to our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
• Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner; take and fulfill drink orders efficiently
• Mix, garnish, and present cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
• Verify member and guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed; communicate shortages to management
• Provide attentive, member-focused service to enhance the overall club experience
• Follow all applicable food & beverage regulations, safety standards, and club policies
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar

Qualifications

• Proven experience (preferred) as a bartender in a restaurant, club, or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation, mixing techniques, and garnishing (preferred)
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• TIPS certification (or willingness to obtain; training can be provided by the club)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and club events during the season
