Summary/Objective
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring that company goals are met efficiently and effectively. This role leads cross-functional coordination, drives operational improvements, supports Engineering and Operations to ensure daily operation is according to procedure, also to provide a safe, efficient work environment for all employees.
Essential Functions
· Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective workflows across departments.
· Develop, implement, and refine operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Lead, coach, and support operational team members to achieve performance goals.
· Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and operational initiatives.
· Administers Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) system
· Oversees and facilitates control of forms, procedures, and work instructions.
· Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
· Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing activities, and contract management when applicable.
· Oversees building security, repair, and janitorial maintenance. Orders all building maintenance supplies.
· Supervises operation assistant and receptionist.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and operational software tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, and high-tech industry.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
