Who Are We
Founded in 1964, ID Sign Group is a 3rd generation family owned, full service custom sign manufacturer. We design, fabricate, install and service a variety of interior/exterior commercial signs throughout New England.
Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Sign Installer/Service Technician, preferably with construction and electrical experience to join our growing team. If you want to utilize a range of technical skills and enjoy working independently and as part of a team, then this may be the position for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install interior and exterior signage according to work orders and deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and other documents to determine project specifications and installation requirements
- Verify that materials, tools, and vehicles are properly prepared for each installation
- Communicate delays, changes, project updates, or issues promptly to client and Installation / Service Coordinator
- Record job details in production software
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, vehicle, equipment, and installation area
- Restock materials and supplies as needed
- Perform a quality check with the client after installation to ensure satisfaction
- Unload vehicles and properly store tools, materials, and equipment daily
Required Qualifications
· Accurate measuring, leveling and alignment skills
· Positive communication with fellow workers and clients
· Attention to details, accuracy and workmanship
· Able to work independently
· Ability to troubleshoot and develop safe, effective solutions on-site
· Basic electrical knowledge
· Clean driving record
· Ability to drive and work in a bucket truck
· High School or equivalent (Preferred)
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work in various outdoor conditions
· Handling heights up to 40’ in an aerial lift
· Able to lift 50 pounds
