As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll support a wide range of endoscopic procedures and help create a safe, organized environment for patients and providers alike. What You’ll Do Set up, prepare, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Communicate directly with the physician and RN to anticipate and prioritize needs. Perform equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and manage inventory in your specialty area. Maintain aseptic technique and take corrective action when needed. Ensure accurate documentation of supplies, equipment, and services provided. Assist with emergency situations as directed by the RN or physician. Participate in quality monitoring activities and help support 24‑hour department coverage. Demonstrate and model the Saint Alphonsus Mission, Vision, and Values. What You Bring (Required) High school diploma or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) through AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network (or current ACLS and/or PALS). Ability to provide safe, competent support across all applicable patient age groups. Preferred: LPN, CST, CNA, EMT, MA training or equivalent medical background. Previous experience assisting with procedures in an Endoscopy unit. Strong technical aptitude, familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy, and ability to work collaboratively in a procedural setting. Why Join Saint Alphonsus?
