The main duties of the position include preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments, loading and unloading trucks, organizing and maintaining inventory using WMS software, managing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Successful candidates are able to perform dependably and efficiently in a warehouse environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries.
HOURS AND BENEFITS
This role is for first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
· Verifies shipments for quantity, quality and accuracy.
· Transports, loads and unloads materials, supplies, and finished goods (using forklift trucks, hand trucks and skids)
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics companies, service providers, internal staff and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Maintains an accurate daily inventory by scanning boxes and pallets for traceability in the WMS software.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
· Troubleshoots shipping issues that arise and works to solve them
· Maintains a safe and clean work environment
· Performs other related duties as assigned
DESIRED BACKGROUND AND REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) required
· 3-5 years’ Shipping & Receiving experience in a warehouse setting required
· Excellent organizational and administrative skills
· Familiarity with Fed Ex, UPS, LTL shipping required
Experience with CRM Record/Data System a plus
· Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts (will certify)
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, shipping forms, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Must be able to work well with others
· Must be able to maintain good attendance
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Frequent pushing or pulling of material and equipment
· Frequent standing and walking when working
· Regular reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling and twisting
