Job Summary
As a Sales Partner, you will be responsible for generating advertising revenue through the sale of both print and digital placements. You will act as a trusted advisor to local businesses helping them showcase their brand through strategic exposure in ID Guide.
This role goes beyond selling ads. You’ll help clients bring their vision to life by coordinating creative assets and ensuring a smooth experience from first conversation to publication. This is a contracted position, not full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop relationships with local businesses, brands, and community partners
- Sell advertising packages across print magazine placements, digital features, and content opportunities
- Educate clients on advertising strategies and recommend solutions aligned with their goals
- Manage your own pipeline, outreach, and follow-up efforts
- Coordinate with clients to collect artwork, logos, and creative assets needed for production
- Maintain organized records of sales activity, contracts, and client communication
- Collaborate with the ID Guide team to align messaging, promotions, and campaign timelines
- Represent the brand professionally at events, meetings, and within the community
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to actively listen and engage with diverse customers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement
- Basic computer literacy for managing transactions and updating records
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
