Our customers come to us because they want a single point of contact for the design and execution of their interior projects throughout Kentucky, southern Indiana, and Tennessee.

The Account Executive (AE) FF&E role based in Louisville, KY, requires a consultative sales professional responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with end-user clients in the corporate, healthcare, and education sectors. The AE will drive sales of commercial furniture, interior design services, and associated products/solutions, focusing on delivering value-based solutions that enhance client workspaces and experiences. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and has a strong background in B2B sales of furniture, interior design, or related products.
Education, Experience, and Attributes:
- Minimum five years’ experience in commercial furniture sales, interior design services sales, or related B2B sales roles
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Deep understanding of workplace trends, furniture solutions, and project delivery methods
- An established network within the business community is highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
- Flexible, collaborative, and able to adapt to diverse audiences
Major Functions of the Position:
- Achieve and exceed sales and profitability goals for assigned FF&E product lines and services
- Develop and nurture relationships with end-user clients, decision-makers, and influencers within organizations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial furniture and interior design ecosystem
- Plan, schedule, and deliver compelling presentations to client teams and executives
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ID A’s full suite of FF&E solutions into client projects
- Prepare, revise, and produce proposals and contracts tailored to client requirements
Essential Duties:
- Consistently exceed sales and profit targets for FF&E products and services
- Build and maintain a pipeline of key accounts and project opportunities
- Engage in consultative selling to uncover client needs and deliver value-based solutions
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers
- Deliver ID A’s Specialty Contractor message and advocate for our innovative FF&E solutions
- Identify and secure opportunities for ID A to participate in workspace transformation projects
- Develop and deliver clear, concise presentations demonstrating product value and project benefits
- Work closely with sales management to develop territory and account strategies
- Maintain and update CRM with client profiles, project forecasts, and leads
- Uphold the ID A Fulfillment Process and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
