Ecommerce Sales Operations Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Ecommerce Sales Operations Analyst to support online retail account teams through reporting, forecasting, inventory coordination, and performance analysis. This role will partner closely with key ecommerce stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and maintain accurate product and inventory data across major online marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze recurring sales and operational reports related to inventory levels, pricing, product performance, profitability, traffic trends, and overall marketplace activity.
- Support ecommerce account teams with inventory replenishment planning and order management to maintain healthy stock levels and reduce fulfillment disruptions.
- Monitor product catalog health, identify data discrepancies, and assist in resolving listing or inventory-related issues.
- Evaluate promotional and sales campaign results, providing insights and recommendations to improve future performance.
- Maintain and update forecasting data based on seasonal trends, customer demand patterns, product launches, and promotional activity.
- Prepare trend analyses and business summaries to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, operational escalations, and product data concerns.
- Assist with product onboarding, item maintenance, pricing accuracy, and digital content updates across ecommerce platforms and syndication partners.
- Generate ad hoc reports and analytical summaries related to sales performance, inventory movement, shipments, and budgeting needs.
- Provide additional project and administrative support for ecommerce initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in ecommerce operations, sales analytics, supply chain support, or consumer products.
- Experience supporting online retail or marketplace accounts is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools with the ability to interpret large data sets.
