Summary
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team at ICW Vocational Services. This position will maximize opportunities for individuals to have access to the greater community and will provide opportunities to seek employment, work in competitive integrated settings, engage in community life, and control personal resources.
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain appropriate professional and ethical relationships in accordance with policies, rules, and regulations.
- Perform duties and conduct interactions with agency staff, persons served, and the public in a manner consistent with ICW values.
- Effectively communicate with all program areas and work with others in a positive manner.
- In the absence of the In-Home and Community Support Program Director, will supervise all In-Home and Community Support Program Staff.
- Assigns and coordinates all scheduling for full, part-time, and casual staff in the department.
- Assists in the coordination/participation in community activities, groups, associations, or clubs to develop social networks with community organizations and clubs.
- Work with minimal supervision and recognize situations where assistance is needed.
Requirements
- An Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university; or
- A high school diploma or equivalent and one-year experience working with disabilities or any other rehabilitative program; or
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid PA driver's license.
- Acceptable Federal criminal history record or criminal history record from the PA State Police.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
