Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety, check for hazards, and deter theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behaviors or activities.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports accurately and promptly.
- Support emergency response procedures including first aid or CPR when necessary, coordinating with first responders as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management strategies, and loss prevention techniques.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts or emergency situations effectively.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
