Location: Kona / Waikoloa / Kohala Coast, Big Island of Hawaii

Job Type: Full-time onsite, 50% travel to 4 locations on the Big Island

Compensation: $60,000 base salary plus *performance bonus

* Target earnings in the next 12 months: $85,000-$110,000 based on results

Our client is a leading resort photography company that specializes in capturing the beauty and essence of vacation destinations around the world. Their team of talented photographers are dedicated to providing our clients with stunning and memorable images that showcase the unique features and experiences of each

resort.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager / Resort Photographer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of their photography business at the resort, as well as capturing high-quality images for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort photography business, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing a team of photographers and support staff.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with resort staff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

- Capture high-quality images of the resort, including landscapes, amenities, activities, and guest experiences.

- Edit and retouch photos to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.

- Manage and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories.

- Coordinate with clients to understand their specific photography needs and deliver exceptional results.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our photography services.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in photography, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other photo editing software.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

- Passion for photography and a keen eye for detail.

- Knowledge of resort operations and customer service principles.

- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
