Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engine equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance on various types of small engines.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals for repair guidance.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary when handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to small engines.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on small engine repair.
- Basic electrical skills for troubleshooting electrical components of engines.
- Familiarity with welding and soldering techniques is a plus.
