Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver items across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to route plans.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during pickups and drop-offs, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Strong work ethic and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Previous delivery, logistics, or driving experience preferred but not required
