Position Overview:
- This key role is responsible for locating and transferring data by means of phone calls, faxes, and website portals into the company's computer systems.
- It is imperative the Data Entry Admin is meticulous as it relates to data entry, entering numerical and alphabetized information.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have data entry skills.
- Strong organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Results-driven and can work independently.
- Proven ability to analyze information.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
- Dental experience a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify entered data meets or exceeds quality requirements.
- Ensure all Personal Health Information (PHI) is kept confidential following HIPAA standards.
- Professionally interacting with other staff as needed.
- Verifying Insurance benefits.
- Speaking with multiple insurance carriers to gather information.
- Should be able to collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business’ databases are current to accurately reflect insurance details are current.
- Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
- Ensuring data is backed up.
- Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
- Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
