Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care, administering medications, assisting with patient assessments, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The role involves supporting patients in routine care, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while demonstrating compassionate, patient-centered service.
Qualifications
- State licensure and certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current, valid license
- Proficiency in medical record-keeping and familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
- Ability to administer medications safely and efficiently
- Strong clinical skills in patient care, vital sign monitoring, and assisting with medical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
- CPR and first aid certification preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare or clinical settings preferred but not required
