- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
- 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
- We are a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit specializing in oncology and hematology patients. We are mixed acuity, seeing both Med Surg and Advanced Care patients. We see a lot of blood products and chemotherapy patients on our unit while also seeing lots of other skills such as drips, PCAs, wounds, and more.
- With ONS Certification, RNs on the unit do administer chemotherapy.
