Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dynamic manufacturing floor? We are seeking a dedicated Production Control Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth production operations by managing inventory, preparing assembly kits, and collaborating with various departments to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Use SAP and Apriso WM daily to manage inventory, complete rework tasks, and release production orders.
- Monitor release dates and work-in-progress (WIP) using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors, Engineers, and Program Managers to prevent and resolve production issues.
- Attend stock purge meetings and generate necessary reports.
- Maintain accurate Kanban inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Prepare assembly kits from stockroom inventory and update activities in an ACCESS database.
- Verify SAP system against physical inventory, identify anomalies, and initiate corrective actions.
- Perform daily cycle counts and ensure parts are properly packed and labeled.
- Support stockroom operations by pulling parts and moving materials on the shop floor.
