Data Scientist- Supply Chain Analytics

DescriptionPosition is with Supply Chain Analytics. supply chain 2 YOE is not needed however is extremely valuable if they have it.Candidates must be able to speak to their coding skills and corporate projects they have worked on. Another bonus if they have manufacturing/supply chain industry background.The ideal candidate is highly motivated, with a passion for modeling, analytics, and technology. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to apply their expertise to enhance the way data is used to inform and make decisions at client Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Prototype, build, and customize analytical applications, often based off data scientist model output, to enable in-depth analysisConstantly iterate with the business on analysis and dashboard design to ensure all necessary features and data are presentPartner with IS and Data Engineers to ensure that the models feeding the dashboards are robust, functional, and relevant to business needsExplore and evaluate new techniques to improve the data processing capabilities.Create striking visualizations to aid in data interpretation and usage.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in Python, SQL & Databricks.Experience manipulating, processing, filtering, cleaning, and standardizing large datasets.Experience with Python data libraries such as Numpy, Matplotlib, and Pandas.Working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience with data visualization utilizing Tableau.Strong problem solving and client facing/ communication skills.Experience translating business problems into technical solutions. Preferred Traits:Passion for exploring data and organizing large datasets.Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts, scripts, and methods.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.Ability to deliver work in an organized, and on-time fashion.Ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.Experience in the biotechnology industry is NOT requiredTop 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    Python & SQL coding proficiencyData visualization skills, ideally via TableauStrong communication, verbal and written.Basic Qualification:Doctorate degreeORMaster’s degree and 3 years of [Job Code’s Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experienceORBachelor’s degree and 5 years of  [Job Code’s Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experienceORAssociate’s degree and 10 years of  [Job Code’s Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experienceORHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of   [Job Code’s Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experienceAnkit Trivedi(408) 217-2477
