As a full-service firm, we focus on building strong relationships, thoughtful solutions, and successful outcomes—for our clients and our team.As Superintendent, you will provide overall leadership to the onsite construction team, ensuring high-quality project delivery that meets schedule, budget, and design goals. This role involves projects of varying size and complexity.Key Responsibilities:Plan, monitor, and track critical path dates and milestone schedulesLead weekly foreman meetings and develop agendasDefine and review expectations for subcontractors, including day-to-day schedulingSupervise Iconica’s carpenters and laborers as neededWork with the field team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentCollaborate with surveyors and foremen to establish benchmarks, shoot grades, and verify dimensional controlDocument daily project events with logs, photographs, and as-built drawingsEnsure all team members and subcontractors work safely and in compliance with regulationsConduct weekly safety inspections and document findingsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractorsPerform carpentry/general work as neededQualifications & Background:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (equivalent experience of four years may be considered in lieu of a degree)Minimum of five years of direct commercial construction experience in a superintendent roleExperience leading both ground-up construction and complex renovation projects, including work in occupied spacesExperience with design-build projects (preferred)Extensive knowledge of construction and carpentry equipment and tools, including power toolsStrong ability to read, interpret, and review plans, shop drawings, and specificationsSolid understanding of jobsite safety proceduresProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Procore is a plusStrong time management, organizational, and prioritization skillsExcellent analytical and negotiation abilitiesStrong ability to work independently and as part of a teamHigh initiative and eagerness to learnExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license (preferred)Interested?
