As an entry-level Superintendent, you will support the field and construction teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. As an entry-level Superintendent, you will support the field and construction teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. You’ll gain hands-on experience coordinating project activities, supporting job site operations, and building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. In this role, you’ll:
- Assist with developing, monitoring, and tracking critical path dates and milestone schedules.
- Support weekly foreman meetings.
- Document daily project activities through logs and photographs.
- Help define and review project expectations and scopes of work for subcontractors.
- Conduct weekly safety inspections and document observations.
- Perform carpentry and general construction tasks as needed to support field operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- At least one year of construction field experience, including internship or co-op experience.
- Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment, including power tools.
- Understanding of jobsite safety procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in Procore (preferred).
- Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurriculars.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
