Join our dynamic team as a Climber with CDL, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing utility infrastructure through skilled tree care, rigging, and equipment operation. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your climbing expertise and commercial driver’s license to safely access and service Trees.
Duties
- Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, ensuring secure rigging and adherence to safety protocols
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to reach elevated work sites efficiently
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and full removals.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, lines, and surrounding environments to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Follow detailed procedures for rigging and material handling to ensure safe lifting and placement of equipment or materials
Skills
- Proven experience in tree care, trimming
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials or equipment at height
- Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
- Growing experience in horticulture, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is highly valued
- Excellent understanding of safety standards related to climbing, bucket operation, and utility work
- Valid CDL license with clean driving record; knowledge of transportation regulations is a plus
