Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality execution from start to finish. In this role, you will manage teams of crew members, coordinate landscaping and grounds maintenance activities, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive the success of various construction projects, including hardscape installations, irrigation systems, plantings, and grounds upkeep. Duties

• Supervise daily operations of landscaping crews, assigning tasks related to lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, irrigation management, and grounds maintenance.
• Oversee the proper operation of landscaping equipment and company vehicles, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers to meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards across multiple construction sites.
• Identify plants accurately to ensure proper planting and maintenance; provide guidance on horticultural best practices.
• Manage irrigation systems including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance to promote healthy landscapes.
• Lead efforts in tree care, gardening projects, and ground cover enhancements while maintaining safety standards for outdoor work environments.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and equipment operation; document all activities thoroughly.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or grounds maintenance with a strong background in team management and crew supervision.
• Extensive outdoor work experience involving landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, hardscape installation, and irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of plant identification techniques coupled with horticulture principles for sustainable landscape practices.
• Familiarity with operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation tools; valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation required.
• Construction experience related to outdoor projects including hardscape features like patios or walkways is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining safety standards across diverse outdoor environments.
• Ability to perform ground preparation tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously in various weather conditions.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
