Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, concrete mixers, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and finish stone materials
- Use welding techniques to join stone components or repair fabrications as needed
- Measure, mark, and cut stone slabs accurately according to project specifications
- Prepare concrete forms and assist with concrete finishing tasks for setting stone installations
- Fabricate custom stone pieces by utilizing mechanical knowledge of tools and machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse or fabrication area
- Follow safety protocols consistently while handling heavy equipment and materials to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, heavy machinery, and construction equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication and machining processes
- Experience with concrete mixing, forming, and finishing techniques
- Skilled in welding and metalwork relevant to stone fabrication projects
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards within the construction or stone industry
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications accurately
- Warehouse experience with inventory management and material handling skills
