Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Publicist, based in Los Angeles, CA, with opportunities to work remotely for part of the schedule. The Publicist will manage day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press releases, liaising with media outlets, and building strong relationships with journalists, talent, agencies and influencers. They will develop and execute comprehensive publicity strategies tailored to each client, secure media coverage, and oversee campaign progress while maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Entertainment Public Relations, Media Relations, and Publicity, with proven ability to create and implement successful campaigns
- Proficiency in drafting and editing Press Releases/Pitches that align with clients' brand messaging
- Exceptional verbal and written Communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with media professionals
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex publicity challenges
- Prior experience working with entertainment and music industries is highly desirable
- Ability to manage priorities effectively in a hybrid work environment, with some time spent working remotely
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 4 years of experience in the entertainment industry as a publicist a roster to bring to the company is preferred
