Prescreening Questions:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive training programs across disciplines such as Solar, Battery Storage, Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance. Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle training.
- Evaluate and validate training courses and skill sets to ensure alignment with RRE business practices. Establish relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders to meet evolving organizational needs. Develop strategies to address knowledge and skill gaps identified within the workforce.
- Perform regular assessments of training effectiveness and relevance. Coordinate training schedules, monitor participant progress, and generate reports. Deliver training in primary disciplines and other relevant areas, utilizing a wide array of training products and methods.
- Manage training delivery to meet organizational objectives and support customer needs. Stay informed about current trends and innovations in training methodologies, integrating them as appropriate. Participate in industry seminars and conferences to maintain professional growth.
Basic/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Alternatively, High School diploma/GED with 9 years of related work experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Expertise in ADDIE instructional design methodology
- Strong communication and training delivery skills
- Experience with INPO certification standards
- Prior experience with Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle power plants or other generation facilities
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of systematic training approaches and adult learning principles
- Hands-on experience with Siemens or Client gas turbines, including startups, outages, and maintenance activities
- Formal training or background in Power Plant Operations
- Familiarity with PLC controls, computer networking, and power distribution systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Project management skills with an ability to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges
- Leadership capabilities to influence and guide teams effectively
- Strong presentation skills for engaging both large and small audiences
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid work environment combining remote and onsite responsibilities post-onboarding; candidates should reside within a reasonable commute to a ### Energy RRE facility
- Travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight stays across RRE locations
- Frequent interaction with station leadership and craft personnel
