Job Summary
Our organization is seeking a highly proficient, hands-on Software Quality Assurance Tester 4 to drive Agile automated software testing efforts and ensure reliable, high-quality digital platform releases. This role works closely with software product developers and analysts to integrate, configure, and execute QA automation solutions, validate releases, and deliver a seamless, bug-free end-user experience. You will play a key role in owning and expanding the QA function across an evolving portfolio of digital products while following industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute advanced, hands-on software QA automation testing within Agile product teams.
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Integrate, configure, and run QA automation tools and platforms.
- Validate software releases and support successful production deployments.
- Perform functional, integration, system integration, regression, acceptance (UAT), and end-to-end testing.
- Test web services using XML and WSDL with SOAPUI, including endpoint modifications across environments and versions.
- Conduct browser, device, OS, usability, load, integration, and performance testing.
- Independently evaluate software to ensure compliance with user and business requirements.
- Manage oversight, code reviews, and defect analysis in collaboration with developers and product managers.
- Apply software configuration management practices, including version control, change control, and build management.
- Ensure secure implementations using SSL, encryption methodologies, and modern web standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced knowledge of software QA industry standards, automation concepts, tools, platforms, and frameworks.
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver using one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, VB, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
- Experience with healthcare-related testing standards, including claims processing and HIPAA compliance.
- Hands-on experience with at least one QA automation platform or framework such as Selenium, Selenide, Appium, Cypress, or QTP/UFT.
- Advanced experience with at least one QA tool/platform for test management, release management, source control, automated code analysis, or defect tracking.
- Strong programming knowledge in at least one language such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, Python, C, or C .
- Solid understanding of Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere for hosting Java-based web applications.
- Knowledge of Web 2.0/3.0 technologies, web browsers, and secure web implementations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant technical programming experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience working with enterprise IT solutions and software product teams.
- Expertise with tools such as Sauce Labs, Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Eclipse IDE, SourceTree, TestNG, Automation Anywhere, or MuleSoft.
- Experience with enterprise applications including ERP systems, SAP, Java or .NET web portals, content management systems, and large-scale websites.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or RUP development methodologies.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, technical writing, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while exercising independent judgment on project-based work.
