Location: 100% Remote (Familiarity with New York State healthcare regulations/market preferred)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Contract Duration: Initial 6-Month Contract (High potential for extension or FTE conversion based on performance and budget)

Equipment: Standard IT setup provided (Laptop, headset, mouse, keyboard)

Role Overview

Are you an agile marketing communications professional with a background in corporate managed care? We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to support high-volume, cross-functional, and omnichannel campaigns.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving member engagement, supporting quality initiatives (HEDIS score optimization), assisting with web platform updates, and executing key communication collateral across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel Campaign & Project Management

• Execute end-to-end marketing communications across multiple channels, including print, digital, and social media.
• Oversee large-scale, direct-to-member mailings and outreach initiatives, ensuring strict compliance and project timelines are met.
• Coordinate review and approval cycles for state- and plan-level marketing materials.

Digital & Web Platform Support

• Assist with content management, updates, and maintenance for the public-facing web presence using Sitecore.
• Support ongoing digital transformation, platform integration, and web redesign projects.

Quality & Compliance Alignment

• Collaborate on targeted marketing efforts aimed at closing care gaps and boosting HEDIS/Quality scores.
• Support regulatory, audit, and operational branding requests as needed.

Ad-Hoc Initiatives & Branding

• Create visually compelling assets using Canva to support local community centers, branding refreshes, and member outreach efforts.
• Manage workflow tasks, timelines, and inter-departmental tickets via Jira.

Candidate Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements

• Industry Experience: Direct experience working within a corporate Managed Care Organization (MCO) or Health Plan environment.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in Jira (project management/ticketing) and Canva (design/collateral creation).
• Work Hours: Ability to work full-time hours on Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Sitecore (CMS) and/or healthcare portals like Availity.
• Knowledge of HEDIS scores, quality initiatives, and member outreach in managed care.
• Strong familiarity with New York State healthcare landscapes and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and project management skills under tight deadlines.
