What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager (Non Profit) position at ICON CDC?
We are hiring immediately for a Program Manager with a business or finance background. To be considered for this position, you must have at least three years of prior experience in this role. Also, you must be bilingual in English/Spanish to be considered for this position. In this role, you will be working directly with small business in all aspects to achieve sustainable growth, as well as managing a small team of specialists.
ICON CDC is a community based non profit organization located in the San Fernando Valley for more than 20 years. ICON CDC has been creating jobs for low income individuals through economic revitalization and neighborhood development.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Business Specialists with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Manage a small caseload of Microenterprises and Small Businesses (less than 20).
- Train staff and interns to provide high-quality services and effective outreach.
- Identify needs and lead the development of new tools and materials (i.e., business plan template, flyer design, etc.)
- Facilitate small businesses' quest for Access to Capital by assisting with loan packaging and identifying suitable lenders.
- Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensuring goals are met, including customer satisfaction, creation of jobs, access to capital and safety.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Accounting, etc.) or five years of equivalent experience
- Have 3-5 years of business services work experience.
- Experience in coordinating services with outside agencies and with administrative systems & databases.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of general business practices, especially strong knowledge of finance and forecasting.
- Small Business Loan packaging experience a plus
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $66,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
