Instructor

iCode Fishers is hiring Summer STEM Instructors to lead fun, hands‑on coding and technology programs for students in grades K–12. Instructors teach daily summer camps (9am–4pm) and may also lead evening Tech Clubs (5pm–7pm, 2–3 nights/week). This role is perfect for college students in Computer Science, high‑school students with strong STEM experience, or anyone passionate about teaching technology.

What You’ll Do

• Teach coding, game development, robotics, and digital creativity using iCode curriculum
• Lead summer camp sessions (9am–4pm) and optional evening Tech Clubs (5pm–7pm)
• Create a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Track and report student progress, behavior, and skill development
• Provide weekly updates to parents
• Support students individually and encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem‑solving
• Maintain professionalism and high classroom standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Alice, and Python
• Experience with GameMaker or Unity (preferred)
• Comfortable using Apple computers and macOS
• General understanding of Agile concepts
• Strong communication and people skills
• Positive, energetic, and dependable
• Ability to work with students in grades K–12
• College CS majors preferred; exceptional high‑school STEM students considered

Schedule Options

• Full‑Time: Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm (summer camps)
• Evening Tech Clubs: 5pm–7pm, 2–3 evenings per week (optional additional hours)

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
