iCode is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time Instructor to join our team. This role involves teaching STEM-focused curriculum to students at offsite locations, as well as representing iCode at promotional events and sales meetings with potential partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in STEM education, with retired teachers strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in STEM subjects including:
- Coding & Programming (Scratch, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
- Robotics & Engineering (LEGO Robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Game Development & Design (Unity, Roblox Studio)
- Digital Arts & Multimedia (Graphic Design, 3D Modeling, Animation)
- Cybersecurity & Networking Fundamentals
- Utilize iCode’s proprietary systems and platforms to deliver curriculum effectively.
- Represent iCode at promotional events, open houses, and sales meetings with parents and community partners.
- Travel to various sites as needed to support instruction and outreach.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
- Collaborate with iCode leadership to ensure consistent program quality.
Qualifications
- Background in STEM education preferred; retired teachers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with coding languages, robotics systems, and digital learning platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to offsite locations for instruction and events.
- Flexible schedule availability (15–30 hours per week).
- Must successfully pass both a drug screening and background check.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time role: 15–30 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling based on program and event needs.
- Competitive hourly compensation: $18–$25/hr, commensurate with experience and travel requirements.
