Floating Leasing Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential or commercial properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to effectively negotiate lease agreements while maintaining a positive relationship with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available apartment homes to prospective tenants.
• Manage the application process, including data entry and file management.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with potential tenants.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
• Assist in marketing properties through various channels, including upselling features of the units.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and property availability.
• Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant inquiries and concerns.
• Perform administrative tasks related to leasing operations, including legal administrative duties as needed.
• Handling current residents' calls

Skills

• Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in data entry and file organization.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals in a sales-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of property management practices and facilities management principles.
• Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling products or services.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
