Oversee and implement process controls to assure accurate and robust qualification data qualifying product and components in the reliability lab. providing a facility wide safe work environment. Actively evolve processes and procedures related to facility and equipment processes to achieve or exceed the company’s revenue and profit margin goals through continuous improvement initiatives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, schedule and conduct testing of controls to ensure reliability and compliance
- Define and document test methodologies to be employed which ensure objectives are met.
- Develop FMEAs and DOE experiments as needed to assist production process improvements.
- Interpret, translate, assess applicability and/or effect on existing or new products or markets.
- Troubleshoot problems involving any aspect of product development with manufacturing to include but not limited to PCB fabrication, board assembly, and 2nd assembly product build.
- Troubleshoot test failures and recommend design changes to meet compliance requirements.
- Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating reliability equipment, Hi Pot testers or working with PPE test fixtures.
- Review and translate customer EMC requirements and procedures into EMC test documents and design concepts.
- Work with the test and regulatory agencies to prepare and provide all necessary documentation and product submissions when necessary.
- Prepares and verifies information reported to various government agencies.
- Creates, maintains, updates & verifies documentation associated with Manufacturing Process Instructions, Shop packets, Routings, Process Deviations, Punch Press & Die Labeling, AOI files, Waste treatment, Hazardous Waste profile and artwork as needed.
- Act as liaison for lab testing of new product qualification.
- Uses various computer applications to analyze, graph and present data to show process improvements.
- Contribute to cost savings initiatives.
- Listen to and understand customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectations.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related equivalent technical degree.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in reliability engineering focused on commercial and industrial electronic control assemblies.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
