JOB SUMMARY:
Takes direction from the Entitlement Services management staff in the carrying out of all the usual general office clerical tasks: filling, coping, faxing, light typing, use of the computer with a particular knowledge and expertise of computer programs: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain Entitlement Files:
- Create Entitlements charts for ICL residents.
- Organize files in chronological / alphabetical order.
- Maintain existing filing system
- MTA Half-Fare Metro Cards Procedure:
- Collect data and complete the MTA half-fare applications
- Manage monthly appointments with ICL residents to complete application and make a picture ID
- Process MTA application by arranging for the notary seal
- Prepare the package of completed applications for submission to MTA
- Hand deliver completed packages to MTA.
- Copy and distribute received MTA half-fare metro cards
- Sort AMALGAMATED BANK’S consumers’ individual statements and distribute them to
- Entitlements Specialists/Coordinators
- Support Entitlements Technical Assistance with Archiving procedure

Sort and forward incoming mail. Process mail for discharged consumers

Prepare and send outgoing mail

Coping, scanning, faxing documents as needed
- Additional related duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
