Chemical Process Manufacturing Engineer

As the Chemical Process/Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability, efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our manufacturing processes. • Working closely with operations and maintenance, you will use engineering expertise to optimize plant performance through process improvement, troubleshooting, project support, and technical leadership.
• You'll analyze production data, implement solutions to manufacturing challenges, support audits and capital projects, and share knowledge through training and collaboration across the organization.
• You will leverage data and KPIs to identify and execute improvement opportunities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive operational excellence.
• Success in this role includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing team capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing, and delivering sustainable, measurable results.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering; upcoming December 2026 graduates are welcome to apply. Must be available to start full-time employment no later than January 2027.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

What will set me apart?

• 2 years of chemical manufacturing or process engineering experience; recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience leading process improvements, managing projects, and influencing change across teams.
• Experience in chemical, food, or other process manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Salary Range: $72,000 - $140,000

Annual Bonus Target: 5% - 7%, subject to plan provisions.
