Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health – Per Diem / Part-time

Pay (per visit):

• Start of care: $90
• Resumption of care: $60
• Recertification: $60
• Discharge: $50
• Skilled nursing visit: $45
• Medication administration visit: $40

Per-visit pay includes the visit, its documentation and travel between visits. Your hourly equivalent depends on how visits are clustered. Mileage between visits is reimbursed, and overtime is paid as required by law.

ICK-Assurance Home Health Care is a Medicare-certified home health agency and MassHealth provider caring for patients in their homes in Worcester and Middlesex Counties. We’re a small, growing team, and we’re looking for an experienced home health RN who wants flexibility: you choose your availability and the visits you take, with no productivity quotas.

What you will do:

• Complete start-of-care, resumption-of-care, recertification and discharge visits, including comprehensive assessments and OASIS.
• Develop and update the plan of care with the patient’s practitioner, and take and enter orders.
• Make skilled nursing visits, and teach patients and caregivers.
• Supervise LPNs and home health aides on your patients, including aide supervisory visits.
• Coordinate care with the office, therapists and practitioners, and report changes in condition.
• Document each visit in our EMR within 24 hours, and clock in and out with EVV.

What you need:

• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license, or a compact license valid in MA
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent)
• At least 1 year of RN experience. Home health and OASIS experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance. The job requires driving between homes.
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for documentation and EVV

What we offer: You set your own schedule, with no productivity quotas. We provide office support for scheduling, authorizations and orders, plus paid orientation and mileage reimbursement. As we grow, there’s an opportunity to take on a larger role.
