Pay: $33.00-$36.00 per hour plus potential for bonus
Hours: 30–40 hours per week (varies seasonally)

Objective:
The Food & Beverage Coordinator leads the day to day execution of prep kitchen operations, inventory management, and ordering to support efficient, safe, and consistent food and beverage operations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role helps maintain high standards of food quality, service, health, and safety while contributing to positive guest experiences and a collaborative team environment aligned with München Haus’s purpose and values.
Essential Job Duties:
- Oversee all prep kitchen daily operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and food quality
- Execute inventory and ordering of all food and beverage products while maintaining appropriate stock levels and rotations
- Maintain restaurant supplies and equipment, ordering office, restaurant, kitchen, and other supplies as needed or directed
- Support staff with receiving food and beverage deliveries and serve as the main contact for all inbound department deliveries
- Oversee cleanliness of all F&B spaces and equipment, working with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure all equipment is in good working condition
- Maintain and foster vendor and sales rep relationships
- Maintain cost controls by managing waste, inventory, and production levels
- Track costs of goods sold with quarterly reporting and for year-end as directed, providing additional reports to leadership upon request
- Support menu and recipe development, including cost of goods sold and pricing analysis
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, analyzing departmental costs, and periodic performance reporting
- Assist Operations Manager with the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
- Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standardized recipes are documented, updated, and written as needed, maintained, and utilized for operational consistency and excellence.
- Coach existing staff and new hires to ensure SOPs and standardized recipes are adhered to
- Create and implement regular deep cleaning schedules for food prep and storage areas
- Assist with cleaning reports, health department inspections, liquor license, safety inspections, and maintenance reports
- Perform general administrative duties, such as ordering supplies, filing, scanning, mail processing, updating bulletin boards, cash drops, and maintaining hard copy and electronic filing systems as needed
- Assist in distribution of Food and Beverage information, work collaboratively with Marketing department to ensure all public information and restaurant menus are up to date and accurate
- Work collaboratively with leadership to maintain best practices for safe, high-performance facilities and sustainable business operations
- Additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day prep kitchen workflows and staff activities
- Monitor prep kitchen labor hours, day-to-day performance, and productivity, escalating concerns to the Operations Manager as needed
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on scheduling, project coordination, and staffing support
- Ensure adherence to health, food, and beverage safety regulations while maintaining consistent operational standards
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms
- Ability to transport up to 60 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in spaces with potentially large swings in temperature, or in sustained cold or hot conditions (indoor and/or outdoor)
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, sanitation chemicals and water
- High volume, fast paced, repetitive movements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively support high-volume operations while maintaining quality and composure
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Food and beverage experience required
- Food and beverage supervisory or other Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
- Always be professional, courteous, and ethical when working with vendors, co-workers, and customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of food handling safety, policies, procedures, and regulations
- Knowledge of inventory policies and procedures
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local liquor laws
- Food Handlers Permit – Must acquire within 30 days of hire if not current
- Washington MAST Card – Must acquire within 60 days of hire if not current
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification – Must acquire within 90 days of hire if not current
- Cicerone Certified Beer Server Certification – Must acquire within 120 days of hire
